These 6 Days tour from Marrakech to Sahara desert begins in Marrakech and travels through the Atlas Mountains Tizi-n-Tichka to the majestic Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, one of Morocco’s most picturesque settlements and a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987, the drive will be continued to Ouarzazate for lunch after exploring this area. In the afternoon, we’ll go to Dades Gorges, where we’ll stay at your hotel for supper and breakfast. We will drive through several traditional Kasbahs between Ouarzazate and Dades, as well as the Valley of roses in Kelaat M’gouna, a well-known location for an annual rose festival.

We will continue our trip to Todra gorges “Todgha gorges” through Tinghir after breakfast in Dades valley. Stopping for a few shots and savoring the scenery of the Canyons. By the afternoon, we’ll arrive in Tinejdad, where you’ll have lunch, before continuing on to Erfoud, where we’ll stop by the Fossil craft studio, a well-known apparel and accessory business, then we’ll head to Merzouga Erg Chebbi. After a brief break at a Merzouga hotel for relaxation, we will ride camels and engage in trekking activities across the golden sand dunes of Erg Chebbi in the desert to arrive at the desert camp (Nomad, Berber tents) where you will spend the second night. The night will be filled with drums, fire, and berber hilarious jokes…

We’ll get up early in the morning, far before sunrise, to enjoy the grandeur of the desert daybreak. To go back to your accommodation, you’ll be able to ride camels. We will visit Gnaoua village Khamlia after breakfast and showering, where we will be delighted by local famous music instruments performed by the Gnaoua band. We will pay a visit to nomad families and then drive to Rissani to observe the region’s largest “souk” traditional market. Residents from the neighboring areas go to this metropolis to purchase for their daily necessities. Madfouna, Tajines, and a glass of Mint Tea in Rissani after lunch… “Madfouna, a famous town supper,” we’ll say as we head back to Merzouga, where we’ll spend the night. We will plan an excursion to several Berber nomads’ homes living in traditional tents and explore the Safsaf oasis on the second day in Merzouga, amid the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi, with an opportunity to prepare lunch surrounded by the Sahara, under the blue clear sky.

After breakfast, we’ll depart the Sahara for the African Hollywood of Ouarzazate, home of the Atlas studios. Many well-known films were shot there, including Gladiator, Babel, and Game of Thrones. We will see Kasbahs in Berber communities and the palm trees Forest before continuing on to Ouarzazat through Rissani, Alnif, Nakob, and Zagora. After lunch, we will depart from Zagora for Ouarzazate, where you will have the opportunity to tour the city and film studios.

On this day, we will go back to Marrakech through the Tizi-N-Tichka Pass, and on the way, we will stop for a cup of tea at a town called “Taddart,” which is located in the center of the route between Marrakech and Ouarzazate.

The whole sixth day of 6 Days tour from Marrakech to Sahara desert will be dedicated to a guided tour of Marrakech. This city is Morocco’s most popular tourist attraction and one of the greatest in the world, the Menara Gardens, the Koutoubia Mosque, the Saadian Tombs, and the Bahia Palace will all be included in the tour. Lunch will be supplied at a nearby eatery. Following that, you will be taken on a tour of Marrakech’s vibrant Souk, the day will end with a sunset view of Jemaa El Fna square, followed by a dinner with an entertainment show at a prominent restaurant, and a night spent at the hotel/ transfert to airport.
