Itinerary of 4 days in Morocco from Errachidia

When you arrive at the airport, we will pick you up to begin the first day of your 4 day desert trip in Morocco. After that, make your way south to the Merzouga Sahara Desert. Enjoy dinner and spend the night at Merzouga.

The second day is yours to discover the Gnaoua town, the nomadic people, and the Merzouga area. We will spend the day exploring the Merzouga area after breakfast. Sand dunes, a wild lake, mines, fossil regions, and wonderful oasis are just a few of the amazing features in the region. Which are perfect locations for a wide variety of outdoor pursuits. In Merzouga, we begin our adventure by taking an off-road drive to an old eyeliner mine. We continue by seeing the nomads in their traditional woven tent. Enjoy the Berber tea and get a feel for their way of life. The Khamlia village is our next stop, and there you may see traditional Gnaoua music and dance. Most of its residents are originally from Niger, Sudan, and Mali, all of which are located in sub-Saharan Africa. Enjoy some leisurely eating at a restaurant. Following that, we go for a walk in a forest of palm trees. Afterwards, continue driving for a little distance to reach the untamed Merzouga Lake, popularly known as the Flamingo Lake. After a short break in the middle of the day, you'll ride camels over the sandy desert to a viewpoint point where you can watch the sun go down before continuing on to the luxury camp. As you dance beneath the twinkling stars, listen to the rhythm of the Berber drums, and roast marshmallows over the campfire. Camp for the night and dinner.

Rissani town, the old capital of Tafilalet, is our destination after breakfat as we depart from the desert. On Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, Rissani's enormous souk comes alive, demonstrating the city's continued status as a key regional commerce hub. Our adventure to Erfoud continues after a leisurely walk through Rissani Souk, where we stop at one of the fossilized marble workshops. We continue our trip to the Todra Gorges by driving via the Touroug and Tinjdad palm fields. A huge canyon, with steep red rock sides, has been carved out by the Todra River as it flows through the mountains. Rock climbers will love these gorges. You are welcome to take your time exploring the gorges and taking in the breathtaking scenery. Enjoy some leisurely eating at a restaurant. Boumalne Dades is our next stop on the way to the Dades valley. The "monkey fingers" rock structure is an inevitable halt. Moreover, at a location high above the Dades valley. At last, it's time for supper and a night at the hotel.

On the last day of your four-day Moroccan desert tour, we'll go to Kalaa Magouna to see the Rose Valley. The month of May is reserved for a Rose Festival. Where residents sell a variety of rose-related goods, including fragrances, water, oil, and cosmetics. The Skoura palm groves will be our next stop. Eventually, we get to Ouarzazate, which is said to be the gateway to the desert. We are going to go to the studios where all those great movies were made. Afterwards, we'll go off to see the world-renown Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. A UNESCO World Heritage Site that is a fortified settlement. A number of films and television shows have included the Kasbah, including Gladiator, Alexander, The Mummy, etc., and even Game of Thrones. Our journey then continues to Marrakesh. You will be driving by the breathtaking High Atlas Mountains as well as the Tizi-N-Tichka pass. There will be lunch stops and photo opportunities at some cool places along the way. We will end our trip in Marrakesh by dropping you off at your hotel or the airport. Tour ended.
