Itinerary of 2 Days Ouarzazate desert Excursion
Our Ouarzazate desert excursion will commence in the morning and take us to Merzouga Desert, passing through Skoura Oasis with a stop to visit Amridil Kasbah. Our journey continues towards Tinghir through Skoura Valley, Roses valley, and Valley of the Dades. We will pause for lunch at Dades gorges, where we will also explore the gorges. Later in the afternoon, we will proceed to Merzouga dunes to witness a mesmerizing sunset at the top of Erg Chebbi. Following this, we will embark on a camel ride to enjoy the romantic desert sunset and reach our campsite. The evening will conclude with dinner and an overnight stay in the camp.
The next morning, we will rise early to witness the magnificent sunrise over the dunes before returning to the campsite for breakfast. After getting ready, we will drive through Tazarine and Nkob in the Draa Valley, where we will stop for a scrumptious lunch. In the afternoon, we will journey through the stunning Draa valley, an ancient caravan route flanked by palm trees and dotted with ancient Kasbahs such as Tamnougalte, the most renowned one. Our day will end in Ouarzazate, as we cross the majestic Anti Atlas mountains. This marks the end of our 2-day desert excursion to Erg Chebbi.
