Itinerary of 4 days tour from Tangier to Marrakech via Sahara desert

Starting at the port or airport in Tangier, our 4-day tour to Marrakech takes us across the Sahara desert. Chefchaouen is one of the most attractive cities set at the foothills of the Rif mountains; we will travel through the majestic Rif mountains and the quaint Tetouan city on our way there. The day will surely be topped off by exploring the magical blue Medina, which is home to lively art and artisan businesses, rooftop restaurants, and cafés. After we've had a chance to fully appreciate Chefchaouen's natural beauty, we'll have lunch at a nearby restaurant. We'll spend the next four hours traveling through the breathtaking countryside and Rif Mountains on our way to Fes. Our next stop will be Fes, where we'll spend the night in preparation for our morning trip.

At the beginning of our trip, we will come and get you from your Riad or hotel, which is located in the Medina of Fes. After that, we will continue on a fun adventure southwards to Ifrane and Azrou, which will take us through the captivating mountains of the Middle Atlas. We are going to make a stop at the cedar trees along the trip so that we may see the Barbary Apes in their natural environment. After that, we will go to the next step, which is to traverse the Tizi N-Talghamt pass and arrive in Midelt. Along the way, we will be able to take in the breathtaking Ziz Gorges, which are formed by the erosion of volcanic rock. As we get closer to Errachidia, you will see that there are traces of the desert. The panorama of the Middle Atlas plateau is a visual delight for the eyes. We will make a stop for lunch before continuing on our drive via the scenic Ziz Valley, which will take us to Erfoud, Rissani, and eventually the stunning Merzouga desert. Just before the sun goes down, we are going to take a little break and have a delicious glass of mint tea. As the sun begins to set, we will continue on an exciting camel ride to your luxurious campsite, which is situated in the middle of the Erg Chebbi Sand Dunes. Here, you will spend the night in an extravagant desert camp that provides a dreamlike experience. The Sahara's starry sky will be your backdrop as you spend the night here

It would be regrettable to miss out on the amazing sunrise over the dunes if you are one of those people that gets up early. We will then proceed on our adventure towards Tinghir city and the Todra Gorges, which are among the most well-known canyons in Morocco. After that, we will have a camel ride back at the beginning of our tour. There is a nomadic family that lives in a cave, and you can even pay them a visit if you want to take a leisurely walk around the region. In the course of the day, we will make our way towards the Dades Valley, which is widely considered to be among the most attractive valleys in the southern region of Morocco. This picturesque journey provides some breathtaking vistas, and we will make our overnight stay here, giving you the chance to take in the splendor of the valley at your own pace.

This morning, we continue our tour by heading in the direction of Ouarzazate, following a road of a thousand Kasbahs, which are fortified structures across Morocco. One of the places that we will visit is Kalaat Mgouna, which is situated in the Valley of Roses and is well-known for the Rose Festival that takes place every year. After some time has passed, we are going to take a few photographs of the breathtaking sights of Ouarzazate before continuing on our journey to the Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, which is one of the UNESCO World Heritage sites. This place has been used as a setting for a number of Hollywood films, such as Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator, and the critically acclaimed HBO series Game of Thrones. Following our discovery of the breathtaking Ait Ben Haddou, we will travel across the Tizi-n-Tichka mountain pass, which is situated at an elevation of 2,260 meters, in order to arrive at the bustling city of Marrakesh, which is the last destination of our four-day tour that began in Tangier.
