4 Days tour from Marrakech to Erg Chebbi Dunes

After visiting Dades Valley, we will continue our immersive adventure via Tineghir and on to the stunning Todra Gorges. After a delicious breakfast in the scenic valley, we will stop at interesting points to take photographs of the canyon and its stunning rocks and winding river. After a wonderful lunch in Tinejdad, our trip continues as we go to Erfoud in the afternoon. At the local workshop, we learn the ins and outs of Fossil Craft, an art form that is exclusive to this area. Arrival in the enchanting Erg Chebbi dunes in the Merzouga Sahara, a tranquil oasis in the middle of the expansive desert, marks the end of the adventure. Enjoy some downtime and companionship with other passengers once you get there. As the night progresses, enjoy a traditional Berber feast while listening to the mesmerizing sounds of fire drum music. Talk to the natives; they are master storytellers and can enrich your experience with their anecdotes. Either settle into a cozy Berber private bivouac with bedding supplied or prefer to sleep under the stars, guaranteeing a night brimming with peace and the enchantment of the Sahara.

Our return trip from the Erg Chebbi dunes to the hotel/camp unfolds as the dawn illuminates the sky, as we ride camels across the serene desert scenery. After breakfast, we hit the road again in our 4x4s, this time over the desert, till we reach the Gnaoua settlement of Khamlia. Enjoy a cultural encounter that captures the authentic heart of Morocco as you lose yourself in the soaring sounds of traditional music. We meet nomad families and learn about their traditional way of living as part of our investigation. The next stop is at the lively city of Rissani, home to the biggest traditional market (or "souk") in the area. Be a witness to the flurry of action as people from all around come here to trade goods and share traditions. We will go back to Merzouga for the night after enjoying ourselves with the Gnaoua band and soaking in the lively vibes of Rissani. Indulge in a delicious lunch in Rissani, where you may sample regional specialties like Madfouna, mint tea, and traditional dishes like Tajines. Incorporating this culinary adventure into our voyage enhances it with taste, making sure that your whole Moroccan vacation is filled with cultural discovery and sensory enjoyment.

After a delicious breakfast, we will continue the trip to Ouarzazate and leave the wonderful Sahara behind. Along the way, we'll pass through Rissani, Agdz, and the scenic Draa Valley, all of which are rich in history and culture in their own special way. As we make our way across the picturesque Tizi n Tichka Pass, which offers breathtaking views of the High Atlas Mountains and the untamed landscape, the route to Marrakech gradually reveals itself. This section of the trip is a visual treat, displaying the varied and beautiful landscapes of Morocco. Before we go towards the famous city of Marrakech, we will explore the lively Ouarzazate, which is called the "Gateway to the Sahara" and has been a popular location for Hollywood films. A suitable climax to our tour, the drive through Tizi n Tichka provides stunning views as we near the end. The dunes, old towns, and lively cultures we've experienced form an unforgettable part of our road trip story as we say goodbye to the Sahara and head towards Marrakech. The enchantment and charm of Morocco will permeate every minute of this extensive adventure.
