Itinerary of 3 Days from Ouarzazate to Merzouga
To begin the best 3 days tour from Ouarzazate to Merzouga desert, we'll depart in the morning and head towards Skoura. En route, we'll make a brief stop to visit the impressive Amredhyle Kasbah, one of the southern thousand kasbahs wonders. Our journey will then take us through Rose Valley, where we'll drive 50km off-road along the Valley track to visit Ait Youl Kasbah. We'll continue to Dades Gorges and have lunch in Boulmane before proceeding to Todra Gorges via Tinghir, which boasts magnificent views. After a day of exploring, we'll enjoy dinner and spend the night in a hotel situated in the heart of the Gorges.
Following breakfast, we'll depart for Tinjdad, passing through Tinghir palm plantations and stopping for lunch before driving through Touroug Palm Plantations until we reach Erfoud town, where we'll visit a local fossil craft workshop. Continuing on our Ouarzazate desert tour, we'll arrive at the awe-inspiring Erg Chebbi dunes of Merzouga. Here, we'll switch from our vehicle to camels and enjoy a camel ride in the desert while taking in the beautiful sunset over the dunes. We'll wake up early to catch the sunrise before breakfast and depart towards the Tafilalet palm plantation, passing through the old Alaouite Sahara capital of Rissani, which was once home to the ancient Alaouite Sultans.
