From there, you will get to experience the real charm of Fes by getting lost in the Medina's narrow alleys and small streets. Your local guide will take you through the maze of the Medina and its souks, where you can experience the hustle and bustle of everyday life in Fes. We will stop at a local restaurant for lunch before continuing our tour of the city. You will get to explore the famous tanneries in Fes, which produce some of the finest leather goods in Morocco. We will also visit the Bou Anania Madrasa, an impressive Islamic school with intricate decorations, and the University of Alqarawiyyin, founded in 857-879 as the spiritual and educational center of the city of Fes.
