We take your privacy seriously and collect only what we need to plan your journey. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with and what your rights are. It is written for travellers from around the world, including the European Union and the United Kingdom.

What we collect and why

We never sell your data, and we never use it for purposes you wouldn’t expect.
Who we share it with
We share only what is necessary, with:
- the hotels, riads, camps and local guides that make up your tour, so they can welcome you;
- our technical providers: our website host (Vercel), the service that forwards quote requests to our inbox (FormSubmit) and our newsletter service (Brevo), each acting under contract on our behalf;
- WhatsApp (Meta), only if you choose to contact us there.
Some of these providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where this happens, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
- Quote requests that don’t become a booking are deleted after 24 months.
- Booking records are kept for as long as accounting and legal obligations require.
- Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe, which you can do through a link in every email.
Cookies and embedded content
This site doesn’t use advertising or tracking cookies. Our statistics are cookieless and anonymous, so no consent banner is needed for them.
Some optional content comes from third parties, such as Google Maps on the contact page, TripAdvisor reviews and YouTube videos. These may set their own cookies, so they only load after you click to show them. Until then, no data is sent to those services.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including under the EU and UK GDPR and Moroccan Law 09-08, you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- correct it if it’s inaccurate;
- ask us to delete it;
- object to or restrict its use;
- receive it in a portable format;
- withdraw your consent at any time, for example to the newsletter.
To exercise any of these rights, email contact@moroccotravel4x4.com and we’ll reply within one month. You can also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority, or in Morocco with the CNDP.
Security
We protect your data with appropriate technical and organisational measures. The site is served over HTTPS, access to booking information is limited to the people who need it, and our providers are chosen for their security standards.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top always shows the latest version.
