02 — Day by day
Driving times come from real road data and don't include stops. Your driver adjusts the pace to you.
Day 01
Casablanca Airport → Casablanca
You're met at the airport and taken to your hotel. Time permitting, take a guided visit of the Hassan II Mosque, then have dinner by the ocean on the Corniche.
Day 02
Casablanca → Rabat → Chefchaouen
See the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V and the Kasbah of the Udayas, then climb into the Rif for an evening among the blue lanes of Chefchaouen.
Day 03
Chefchaouen → Volubilis → Moulay Idriss → Meknes → Fes
Walk among the Roman mosaics of Volubilis, look out over Moulay Idriss, see the Bab Mansour gate in Meknes and arrive at your riad in Fes.
Day 04
Spend a full guided day in the medina, with its madrasas, the doorway of Al-Qarawiyyin, the coppersmiths and the Chouara tannery, then sunset from the Merenid Tombs.
Day 05
Fes → Ifrane → Azrou cedar forest → Midelt → Ziz Gorges → Erfoud → Merzouga
Head south through Ifrane, the cedar forest and the Ziz Gorges to Merzouga, then ride a camel into Erg Chebbi for sunset.
Day 06
Sunrise over the dunes, Gnawa music in Khamlia and tea with a nomad family, then a slow afternoon and a second night under the stars.
Day 07
Merzouga → Tinejdad → Todra Gorge → Tinghir → Dades Gorges
Walk the Todra Gorge, then continue to a kasbah hotel facing the red cliffs of the Dades Gorges.
Day 08
Dades Gorges → Kelaat M'Gouna → Skoura → Ouarzazate → Aït Ben Haddou → Tizi n'Tichka → Marrakech
Follow the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs to Aït Ben Haddou, then cross Tizi n'Tichka at 2,260 m and arrive in Marrakech by evening.
Day 09
Marrakech → Marrakech Airport
Depending on your flight, spend a final morning at the Koutoubia, in the souks or at the Jardin Majorelle before a private transfer to the airport.
