01 — Overview
This is the south of Morocco done slowly, with no one-way flight. You sleep at the foot of Aït Ben Haddou and deep in the Dades Gorges, spend two nights in the dunes, then come home by the quiet southern road past Nkob and the Draa.
The trip ends on the Atlantic in Essaouira, with sea air, ramparts and fish straight from the harbour.

02 — Day by day
Driving times come from real road data and don't include stops. Your driver adjusts the pace to you.
Day 01
Marrakech Airport → Marrakech
A private transfer from the airport to your riad. Spend the evening on a roof terrace or among the lanterns of Jemaa el-Fnaa.
Day 02
Spend a guided day at the Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs and in the souks, with the Jardin Majorelle in the afternoon.
Day 03
Marrakech → Tizi n'Tichka → Telouet → Aït Ben Haddou
Cross Tizi n'Tichka and take the old caravan road to the Glaoui palace at Telouet, then follow the Ounila valley down to Aït Ben Haddou. You sleep at its foot and climb the ksar in the golden hour.
Day 04
Aït Ben Haddou → Ouarzazate → Skoura → Kelaat M'Gouna → Dades Gorges
Pass through Ouarzazate, the palm grove of Skoura and Kelaat M'Gouna to a kasbah hotel facing the red cliffs of the Dades Gorges.
Day 05
Dades Gorges → Tinghir → Todra Gorge → Tinejdad → Erfoud → Merzouga
Walk the Todra Gorge in the morning, then cross the stone desert to Merzouga and ride a camel into Erg Chebbi as the sun sets.
Day 06
Sunrise from the dunes, then Khamlia's Gnawa musicians, tea in a nomad tent and the seasonal lake when it holds water. Afterwards, a second night under the stars.
Day 07
Merzouga → Rissani → Alnif → Nkob → Agdz → Ouarzazate
Return west by the quiet road through Alnif's fossil country and the kasbah village of Nkob, joining the palm-lined Draa at Agdz before a night in a kasbah hotel near Ouarzazate.
Day 08
Ouarzazate → Tizi n'Tichka → Marrakech
A relaxed morning drive back over Tizi n'Tichka, with a free afternoon in Marrakech for the souks you missed.
Day 09
Marrakech → Essaouira
Cross the argan country to the coast, stopping at a women's argan cooperative, and walk the ramparts of the Skala at sunset.
Day 10
Essaouira → Marrakech Airport
A last morning by the sea, then a private transfer to Marrakech airport, about two and a half hours away.
