10-Day Ultimate Morocco Itinerary (Marrakech to Casablanca)

Enjoy a full day of sightseeing with a local guide, visiting the Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, and Jardin Majorelle. The afternoon is spent navigating the intricate souks before experiencing the spectacle of Jemaa el-Fnaa square in the evening.

We cross the High Atlas Mountains via the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass. We visit the fortified village of Kasbah Aït Benhaddou (UNESCO site). After lunch, we continue to Ouarzazate for the overnight stay.

We drive east, stopping to walk through the dramatic Todra Gorges. We continue to Merzouga. In the late afternoon, we start the camel trek into the Erg Chebbi dunes and arrive at the luxury desert camp for the night.

This dedicated desert day includes a 4×4 tour around the dunes, visits to nomadic camps, and listening to Gnawa music. You have time to relax or try sandboarding before spending a second night enjoying the magnificent desert stars.

We depart the desert, heading north. The route includes panoramic stops in the Ziz Valley and the Middle Atlas Mountains. We pass near Ifrane and the Cedar Forests before arriving in Fes in the early evening.

A full day guided tour of the Fes El Bali medina, visiting the Chouara Tanneries, the Al-Qarawiyyin University, and historical medersas.

We drive northwest, enjoying the scenic mountain roads toward the beautiful blue-washed city of Chefchaouen in the Rif Mountains. The afternoon is dedicated to wandering the unique streets.

Enjoy a relaxed morning in Chefchaouen. We then drive toward the Atlantic coast to Casablanca. Upon arrival, we visit the exterior of the Hassan II Mosque before checking into our hotel.

Transfer to CMN or RAK for departure.
